My Honest Solaire Afternoon Tea Review (2026): Oasis Garden Cafe Price & Menu

Solaire afternoon tea at Oasis Garden Cafe: the tiered tea stand and Lianne in the atrium

Published on September 8, 2026 · Last Updated on September 15, 2026

Quick answer: Solaire’s afternoon tea is served at Oasis Garden Cafe in Solaire Resort Entertainment City, Parañaque. It costs PHP2,088+ for two people (about PHP2,297 with the 10% service charge) and includes two coffees or a pot of tea. The scones and honey madeleines are excellent, but slow service keeps it at 3.8/5 for me.

We were celebrating a birthday, and I wanted to take my loved ones somewhere that felt a little extra. Not a party, not a big dinner, just a slow afternoon with good tea, tiny sandwiches, and time to actually talk.

I’d been curious about Solaire’s afternoon tea for a while now, so a birthday felt like the perfect excuse to finally try it.

If you’ve read my EDSA Shangri-La afternoon tea review and my Marco Polo Ortigas afternoon tea review, you know I take my tiered stands seriously. So here’s how Solaire compares.

How Much Is Solaire Afternoon Tea?

Solaire’s afternoon tea at Oasis Garden Cafe costs PHP2,088+ for two people, according to Solaire’s official offer page.

With the 10% service charge, the bill comes to about PHP2,297 (around $41), or roughly PHP1,148 per person. The sparkling wine set is PHP2,388+, or about PHP2,627 (around $47) after service charge.

The price was the same when I went in April 2026 and for the current strawberry set, so Solaire seems to keep PHP2,088+ as its standard afternoon tea rate even when the theme changes.

Why We Chose Solaire for Afternoon Tea

  1. It was a birthday. A birthday deserves more than the usual merienda, and a three-tier stand makes any table feel like a celebration.
  2. The honey theme caught my eye. Almost every item on the menu had honey in it, from the pork belly bites to the madeleines. I was curious if it would get too sweet (spoiler below).
  3. I’d been curious about it for a while. I kept seeing Solaire’s afternoon tea sets online, and after trying Shangri-La and Marco Polo, I wanted to see how it compared.

Where Is the Afternoon Tea at Solaire?

Solaire’s afternoon tea is served at Oasis Garden Cafe, in the Sky Tower atrium of Solaire Resort Entertainment City in Parañaque.

It is a different property from Solaire Resort North in Quezon City, so double-check which Solaire you’re heading to before you book a Grab.

What I liked right away is that the cafe feels separate from the casino. You’re sitting under a high glass-and-gold atrium with tall palm trees around you, so it feels more like a garden lounge than a hotel lobby.

We got there around 3 PM, and the vibe was chill and laidback. Nobody was rushing us out, which is exactly what you want when the whole point is to sit, sip tea, and catch up for a couple of hours.

If you’re coming from Quezon City or further north, Parañaque can be a long drive, especially if you’re leaving during rush hour. One way around that is to turn your tea date into an overnight stay, so you can stay late, skip the traffic, and wake up already at Solaire.

What’s on the Solaire Afternoon Tea Menu Right Now?

From July 1 to December 31, 2026, Oasis Garden Cafe is serving a Strawberry Afternoon Tea with 6 savory items, 6 strawberry sweets, and traditional scones, based on Solaire’s published menu.

Solaire changes its afternoon tea theme every few months, and the price stays at PHP2,088+.

Savory

  • Mini croissant with brie, strawberry, honey, and balsamic
  • Mini bagel with smoked salmon, strawberry sour cream, and dill
  • Pulled beef BBQ croquettes

Sweets

  • Chocolate strawberry

Scones

  • Traditional scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream

Heads up: this set has 6 savory and 6 sweet items. The honey set I had came with 8 savory items and 3 kinds of scones, so the strawberry version looks a little smaller for the same price.

The Set I Tried: Solaire Signature Afternoon Tea (Honey Theme)

The set came on a three-tier stand with a separate plate of scones. Here’s the full menu from our April 2026 visit. This honey set isn’t served anymore, but it gives you a good idea of the portions and quality at Oasis.

Savory

  • Zucchini, grilled chicken, miso honey
  • Rum and honey glazed pork belly bites
  • Brie empanada with honey glaze
  • Shrimp bun with honey dressing and avocado
  • Turkey ham and honey mustard quiche
  • Honey glazed smoked salmon rillette on a mini bagel
  • Pea and apple salad puri with coriander chutney
  • Fish burger with honey and green mango slaw

Good to know if you have allergies: Oasis marks gluten, nuts, and seafood on its menus, and almost every item had at least one of these. Tell your server before ordering.

Our Dining Experience

The Savory Tier

Our favorite on the savory tier was the rum and honey glazed pork belly bites.

The honey glaze gave the pork belly a sticky, sweet coating, and the rum added a little depth so it didn’t taste like dessert. If there’s one savory item I’d tell you to save for last, it’s this one.

The shrimp bun with honey dressing and avocado was really good too. My only complaint is the size. It’s gone in two bites, and I wish they’d given us a bigger serving because we both wanted more.

The Sweets

Now let’s talk about the honey madeleines, because they were the star of the sweets tier for me. They were buttery and soft, with that golden, lightly crisp edge that makes a good madeleine feel so indulgent. The honey made them taste richer without being cloying.

Honestly, I could have had a whole plate of these with my tea and called it a perfect afternoon.

The Scones

Solaire’s scones are the second best I’ve had at any afternoon tea, right after the Westin Manila in Ortigas. My loved ones really loved them, and I get why.

The honey glazed scone was the best of the three. That shiny glaze on top made it taste like a treat on its own, even before you add anything.

Speaking of add-ons, the strawberry jam and clotted cream deserve their own mention. The jam was chunky and fruity, not the overly sweet kind, and the clotted cream was thick and rich. I honestly wished we could take a jar of that jam home.

Put the two together on a scone and you’ll understand why we kept reaching for another one! 🙂

The Tea

The set comes with a pot of tea or two freshly brewed coffees.

We went with English Breakfast, which is a safe pick because it goes well with both the savory bites and the sweets. The tea came in a glass pot on a little warmer, so it stayed hot while we took our time.

How Is the Service at Oasis Garden Cafe?

Service at Oasis Garden Cafe was the weakest part of our visit. We had to call the staff’s attention several times just to get water, which is a basic thing at a hotel cafe charging over PHP2,000 for a tea set.

It didn’t ruin our afternoon, but it’s a big difference from the service we got at Marco Polo, where our server checked on us without us having to wave anyone down. If you’re going on a busy day, be ready to flag someone down for refills.

Is Solaire Afternoon Tea Worth It?

Solaire afternoon tea is worth it if scones are your favorite part of afternoon tea. The food is excellent for PHP1,148 per person, but slower service makes it a 3.8/5 instead of a top pick.

What I loved

  • The honey glazed scones, the second best I’ve had after the Westin Manila
  • The chunky strawberry jam and thick clotted cream
  • The honey madeleines
  • The rum and honey glazed pork belly bites
  • The chill, laidback garden atrium

What could be better

  • Service. Having to ask for water more than once shouldn’t happen at this price.
  • The shrimp buns were too small.

Best for: Scone lovers, birthday treats, and anyone already at Solaire looking for a sweet afternoon break.

If you want great service and a skyline view for less, Marco Polo is still my pick. But if scones are your favorite part of afternoon tea, Solaire is worth the trip.

Make It a Staycation at Solaire

Afternoon tea is lovely, but if you’re celebrating something (a birthday, an anniversary, or just surviving a hard month), it’s even better when you don’t have to rush home after.

Book a room at Solaire Resort Entertainment City and you can linger over your last scone, take your time walking around the resort, and sleep in the next morning instead of sitting in traffic.

A few tips so you get the best deal:

  • Compare a few dates. Hotel rates in Manila often change a lot between weekdays and weekends, so check more than one night before you book.
  • Look at the cancellation policy. If your plans might move, a free cancellation rate is worth a small price difference.
  • Plan tea on your check-in or check-out day. A 3 PM tea fits nicely right around check-in, so the whole trip feels like one long treat.
