Whenever my family and I travel, we would usually consider a hotel if it’s part of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand because we like how they train their staff to be customer-oriented. Plus, their breakfast buffets are great!
In this Hilton Clark review, you’ll see if this luxury hotel in Clark is worth your money. Or if you’re better off booking other hotels in Pampanga instead.
Hilton Clark Review – Our Experience
For our family staycation, we wanted to chill out, swim and enjoy leisure time together to decompress and bond as a family.
After we researched the best hotels in Clark, Pampanga, we decided to book at Hilton Clark because of 3 reasons:
1. We chose a hotel with free breakfast already, because the last thing you want to do while on vacation is think of what you’re going to eat when you wake up in the morning. 🙂
2. Hilton Clark has the amenities we need to enjoy our stay, such as their gorgeous pool area and in-house casino for my mother.
3. The hotel should be more affordable in Agoda — we booked Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort in Agoda because it’s available there.
Actually, we also saved money because it’s friendlier on the pocket when you book Hilton Clark on Agoda. We saved up to $140 (₱8,000) for a 2-night stay in the property.
Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort – Rates
When we booked our stay using Agoda, our 3-day, 2-night stay at Hilton Clark totaled to $330 (₱18,701).
This hotel rate is extremely affordable, considering that it already includes free breakfast, unlimited access to pool, and is a 5-star property.
When you book directly with Hilton Clark’s official website, a 2-night stay will set you back $470 (₱27,192).
This is why I usually tell Live Free With Lianne readers to shop around and book using Agoda. Based on my own experience as I’ve been travelling for 10 years now, Agoda usually has hotel promos so you get massive discounts when booking with them.
Hilton Clark Hotel – Location
Located near Aqua Planet, Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort is also 6 minutes away from Clark Zoobic Safari. This makes it a great base for exploring the region, especially if you’re travelling with your family or children.
My mother also loves the casinos near the hotel, so it’s perfect if you have senior citizens with you. 🙂
Personally, I love how the casino is also a quick drive going to Korean Town in Angeles, Pampanga, so we can easily munch on our favorite Korean restaurants in Donenoo or Boom Chicken.
Room
As you know, we booked our room in Hilton Clark via Agoda so we saved up to $140 (₱8,000) in total. Yay!
The room we booked featured a twin-bed configuration, which was what we requested. Plus points to Hilton for this! Sometimes, hotels don’t make good on their listings, so we’re pleasantly surprised to know that the room we paid for is the room we got.
And can I just say how much I love Hilton’s bed and pillows? It’s like falling asleep on a cloudy paradise.
It’s the main reason why I didn’t get much work done during our family staycation at this hotel. 😀
Also, seeing your name displayed on the television inside the room is a nice customization touch. Sometimes, it’s really the little things that add a touch of luxury to your stay, don’t you think?
Our comfortable room included the following features:
- 2 single beds
- Room size: 34 m²/366 ft²
- City view
- Non-smoking
- Shower
- Free Wi-Fi
Our room had all the amenities I could dream of, including fast Wi-Fi (perfect for uploading Instagram posts or binging Netflix) and a luxurious bathroom that practically begged for a relaxing shower.
Also, my family love the Hope in a Box water containers, and of course, who could forget tea? We appreciate that Hilton Clark has lots of tea bags in different flavor profiles — perfect when you’re simply lounging inside your room and reading!

Free Breakfast at Hilton Clark Hotel
Imagine this…
You’re enjoying your staycation time inside your hotel room. In fact, you enjoyed it so much that you slept like a baby all throughout the night.
Then, when you wake up, you don’t need to worry about what you’re eating, or when you’re eating, or how you’re going to cook or go to the restaurant…
Because you can just go to the hotel’s restaurant to get your complimentary breakfast buffet!
At Hilton Clark’s buffet breakfast, you can easily choose from tons of food selections and enjoy the first meal of the day with your family. Such bliss! From fresh tropical fruits to crispy bacon, nostalgic cereal and fluffy pancakes, they had it all.
We also love that Hilton Clark carries soy milk at their restaurant. I am lactose-intolerant, so knowing that the hotel I’m staying at carries plant-based milk alternatives is enough to put a smile on my face.

We enjoyed Hilton’s breakfast so much that we even tried out their in-house restaurant for a light dinner.
Their margarita drinks are 100% glorious, and I seriously miss them while I’m typing this right now. 🙂
Swimming Pool
When it was a bit cloudy, as I’m not a fan of the sun, we headed to the stunning pool area.
Because Hilton Clark’s pool is surrounded by swaying palm trees and comfortable loungers, it was the best place to unwind and chill out. In fact, I’ve been to a lot of hotels within Clark, and Hilton’s pool is at the top of my list.
I sipped on a fruity drink while reading my e-book, as my family took refreshing dips in the pool. I’d also love to commend their staff who always made sure that the pool’s ambiance remains calm, relaxing and enjoyable for everyone. Great work! 🙂
